Introduction
So some exciting news to share regarding the potential upcoming release of the medical marijuana product.
The final testing step with the Department of Agriculture is underway, and results could come as early as next week.
That is literally the final step before the medical marijuana product will be released to the dispensaries. The final product has been bottled, labeled, and packaged.
The arrangements for tracking and distribution, from what I am told, have already been finalized.
So there is a possibility this treatment could be in patient’s hands in less than a week.
Recommendation Status
Every eligible patient’s recommendation has been sent and confirmed received by every single one of the 9 licensed dispensaries.
Many of the dispensaries are planning to fill recommendations in the order that they were received.
This means that you all will be amongst the very first patients in your areas to receive your treatment.
Dispensary Status
Every dispensary that I talk to is expecting to start dispensing soon after the product is released to them. Some (but not all) will even be distributing on the product release date, which is potentially next week.
I would STRONGLY ADVISE that you DO NOT physically go to the dispensary until you have confirmed with the dispensary their pickup procedures.
There is a limited capacity of patients that they can serve each day (around 20-50) and most dispensaries are planning to schedule a specific date and time for each patient to come in.
I know many of you have been trying to contact your dispensary and leaving messages, but rest assured that I have personally spoken with the owners or Pharmacists at every single location, and you will get your product dispensed as soon as possible
Retail Price
We probably won’t know the retail prices until the product is available for sale.
Each dispensary will have different prices as expected for independently owned businesses.
Summary
It’s been a long time coming, but there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. It will be exciting to see patients finally have access to this treatment.
